This video covers some important judicial precedents, wherein the Indian Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT) examined whether the Indian tax authorities were justified in denying foreign tax credit to taxpayers (tax residents of India) because they had filed Form 67 (the form for claiming foreign tax credit) subsequent to the prescribed deadline. The ITAT held in favor of the taxpayers.
